At most special events, the music is what creates the mood and atmosphere. Music is a powerful ingredient that makes an event enjoyable and stand out in the memories of your family and guests. We take a personalized approach to planning our client's big day. Every wedding is customized to the exact tastes of our clients. We provide a free, no obligation consultation and work with you to construct a written itinerary using Planning and Time Line Forms. This help us to better understand your musical tastes and the ambiance you are striving for to assure your day goes exactly as planned. |
The following is an example of a typical wedding format
** This is only and example and your wedding will be tailored to best fit your wedding **
- DJ will provide background music as soon as first guests arrive at the wedding reception
or at an agreed upon time frame if both the wedding and reception are in the same
location. The DJ will set the mood in anticipation of the arrival of the bride and groom
while the guests have cocktails and mingle
- DJ plays grand processional music as he announces the arrival of the Bridal Party and
makes the introductions of the Bride and Groom’s Grandparents, Parents, Bridesmaids
and Groomsmen, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer, then the Maid/Matron of Honor and Best
Man. Usually about 1/2 to 1 hour after guests arrive at the reception
- DJ announces the bride and groom as Husband and Wife for the first time to the guests.
The Wedding March or any song of your choice can be played at this time
- DJ continues to play background music (classical, jazz, etc.) for approximately one half
hour to forty-five minutes for everyone to socialize and enable you to greet your guests
- Meal is served and DJ continues playing background music
- Toasts are made and can be done at the beginning, middle or the end of the meal and are
usually done by the Maid/Matron of Honor and the Best Man
- DJ make announcement of the First Dance to the song(s) personally chosen by the Bride
and Groom due to its significance to their lives
- After the First Dance the families and bridal party join in. Traditionally, the bride then
dances with her father, stepfather, and/or other significant person in their life, as does
the groom with his mother, stepmother, and/or other significant person in their life
- Open dancing for approximately 30 to 60 minutes after the first dances above. Depending
on your preference, this can be longer or shorter
- DJ announces the Bouquet toss and requests the single women gather around
- DJ announces the Garter toss and requests the single men gather around
- Open dancing continues for approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Depending on your
preference, this can be longer or shorter
- DJ announces the Cake cutting ceremony
- Dancing continues and the DJ will announce the Last Dance and perhaps play the song
selected for the First Dance or any other of your choice

| Along with your wedding package, you will receive one-on-one consultations as needed and music preparation including the selections, purchasing and editing, which is typically a minimum of 3 to 5 hours of additional time spent preparing for your wedding. Your wedding day will be one of the most memorable events in your life and we will be there every step of the way to make that happen. |
